Roy sat at his office chair, thoroughly bored with the current circumstances; there was only a small stack of paperwork, and he had finished it in 30 minutes. He let out a sigh, leaning back in his chair. Turning his head to the side, he looked over at his Lieutenant/secret girlfriend, seeing her read one of those sappy romance novels. 

Riza looked over at him out of the corner of her eye, marking her page and setting the book down on the table.
“Honestly sir, how many times do I need to tell you that you need to finish your—” noticing that his paperwork was all finished and stacked neatly on the corner of his desk, she smiled at him. “You finished your work early?”

Roy turned around, looking out the window. “Yeah. There were only about 15 papers today.” He saw a bird fluttering around by a tree, and envied it’s freedom. “UGH. Why do we have to be here, but the others get the day off. It sucks.” He complained bitterly, turning around to face Riza. 

“Only fifteen?” She watched him, her smile still spread across her face. He was so childish sometimes. “We’re higher ranks; I suppose that’s why.”
She walked over to his desk and kissed him gently. “Don’t worry. We’ll be allowed to leave soon~”
